Medscape’s Physicians of the Year: The Best of 2022

Medscape is a resource that doctors trust for medical news and clinical education. The publication has awarded Dr. Friedman a Physician of the Year Best of 2022 award in recognition of his philanthropic campaign as President of American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery. As President of ASLMS, Dr. Friedman has worked in collaboration with the National Trafficking Sheltered Alliance on ASLMS New Beginnings. The New Beginnings program establishes a national directory of board-certified physicians to aid sex-trafficking survivors in their recovery process by removing branding tattoos pro bono.

Vascular Birthmarks Foundation Physician of the Year 2022

Dr. Friedman is also honored to be named Physician of the Year 2022 by The Vascular Birthmarks Foundation. This non-profit organization provides resources for patients and families affected by vascular birthmarks such as port-wine stain birthmarks and hemangiomas. Dr. Friedman is recognized for his outstanding achievements in the diagnosis and treatment of children and adults affected by a vascular birthmark and associated conditions.
