The Vbeam® Perfecta Laser is a pulsed-dye laser system coupled with a patented Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD). The Vbeam® Perfecta Laser can treat a variety of vascular conditions with a high safety profile. In addition to the DCD, the Perfecta uses micropulse technology to apply greater energy in a number of shorter, lower-energy pulses, which also increases effectiveness and reduces the incidence of side effects.
The Vbeam® Perfecta Laser can treat:
- Facial Veins
- Spider Veins
- Port Wine Stains
- Venous Lakes
- Stretch Marks
- Benign Cutaneous Vascular Lesions
- And many other conditions
The Vbeam® Perfecta Laser produces a focused burst of light that selectively destroys surface-level blood vessels and skin discolorations. Damage to surrounding tissue is minimal. The level of treatment depends on the condition being treated. Red veins respond better than blue ones, and smaller treatment areas respond more quickly than large ones. In general, three to five treatments are required to accomplish optimal results. These treatments are usually performed four to six weeks apart.
I have been a patient for well over 10 years and have had several different laser treatments. Dr Friedman is trustworthy, honest and professional. He has my highest recommendation.

Patients typically report little to no discomfort from the treatment. If anything, you may feel a slight sting like being snapped with a rubber band, or perhaps the sensation of a mild sunburn on treated skin. Some patients experience redness, swelling, or bruising which resolves itself within days.
