VBeam® is a non-invasive laser skin rejuvenation procedure that can treat a variety of vascular conditions and complexion issues, including rosacea, hyperpigmentation, spider veins, and more. The Vbeam® Laser Platform is a pulsed-dye laser system coupled with a patented Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD).

How Does VBeam® Work?

VBeam® utilizes advanced technology to emit pulses of energy with differently colored laser beams that target red pigmentation and discoloration to diminish imperfections without harming the surrounding skin. VBeam® Perfecta uses micropulse technology to apply greater energy in a number of shorter, lower-energy pulses, which also increases effectiveness and reduces the incidence of side effects.

VBeam® Results and Recovery

In general, three to five treatments are required to accomplish optimal results. These treatments are usually performed four to six weeks apart.

Patients typically receive a topical numbing cream 30 minutes prior to the laser treatment and report little to no discomfort during the procedure. If anything, you may feel a slight sting like being snapped with a rubber band, or perhaps the sensation of a mild sunburn on treated skin. Some patients experience redness, swelling, or bruising which resolves itself within days.
