A native Floridian, Dr. Amanda Suggs received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida in Food Science and Human Nutrition. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Miami and then completed her internship in Internal Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. After her internship, she pursued a two-year research fellowship at Case Western Reserve University focusing on Photomedicine. She stayed at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve University to complete her dermatology residency, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Suggs is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
Dr. Suggs is joining the Dermatology & Laser Surgery Center for a one-year ASDS-accredited Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship under the direction of Dr. Paul M. Friedman, MD. After fellowship, she will stay on staff with DLSC as an Associate. Dr. Suggs and family are avid triathletes and runners. They are excited to get plugged into the Houston running and triathlon community!
