GentleMax™ Laser Treatment

Laser hair removal with the GentleMax™ laser system removes unwanted hair with remarkable results. Benefits of GentleMax™ Laser Procedures

The GentleMax™ laser utilizes high-intensity laser energy to penetrate deep into the skin and distribute heat to the hair follicles, ultimately destroying them and reducing the potential for re-growth without affecting the surrounding areas of skin. The treatment session is virtually painless and most patients do not require downtime after the procedure. The GentleMax™ procedure results in decreased hair density in virtually any body area, reducing the need for routine plucking, waxing, and shaving. Although there are some exceptions, this technology can typically work for a variety of hair colors and skin types.

How does GentleMax™ Work?

GentleMax™ laser hair removal utilizes a special device that is guided over the area being treated. Laser energy will be emitted over the area, where it will target the hair follicles with heat. The GentleMax™ is equipped with a cooling device to minimize discomfort while the heat is distributed under the skin.

Depending on the size and number of areas being treated, most treatments range from 5 minutes to one hour in length. Multiple treatment sessions are often necessary to achieve the desired results.
