One of the most innovative new treatments to tighten the skin and rejuvenate one’s facial appearance is now available from the Dermatology & Laser Surgery Center. evolastin™ is a procedure that utilizes radio frequency energy to encourage the growth of the skin’s natural collagen, elastin, and even hyaluronic acid – all components of the body’s own tissues that help give the skin a smooth and healthy appearance. This new treatment can be beneficial to patients of all skin types, and offers a less invasive approach to facial rejuvenation when compared with plastic surgery procedures. Plus, evolastin™ is known for its long-lasting results, up to 18 months or more in many cases.

Please contact our practice for more information on the new evolastin™ treatment.

What is evolastin™ and What does it Treat?

evolastin™ is an FDA-approved, energy-based aesthetic enhancement procedure designed to deliver concentrated bursts of radio frequencies to the deeper layers of skin. This action can help stimulate collagen and elastin, helping to grow healthier skin layers with results that appear firmer and more youthful. This skin-tightening procedure can help patients increase the volume and texture of the skin, giving patients a more vibrant appearance.

Benefits of evolastin™

evolastin™ treatment includes a number of advantages that can provide effective results to patients who are looking to renew their appearance. These benefits include:

  • Works on all skin types
  • Works to stimulate collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid
  • Patients can achieve a tighter, smoother, and more youthful appearance
  • Minimally invasive – no incisions or stitches required
  • Known for accuracy and precision
  • Known for consistent results

How it Works

The evolastin™ treatment process involves the insertion of extraordinarily thin needles in the area targeted for treatment. These microneedles carry the radiofrequency energy that will provide stimulation to elastin and collagen under the skin. A local anesthetic is used to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. Depending on the size of the treatment area, the evolastin™ procedure typically takes about one hour to complete.

Patients can expect some bruising and redness after evolastin™ treatment; however, this should fade over the next few days. Optimal results from evolastin™ are typically apparent after about three months, and should continue to improve over the next 18 months, as newly active collagen and elastin produce smoother, more youthful skin tone and texture.
