Actinic Keratosis Laser Study

We are is seeking volunteers to participate in an Actinic Keratosis Laser Study with an investigational device.
Eligible participants must:

  • Be between 30 and 80 years of age
  • Currently have clinically identifiable actinic lesions on facial skin
  • Be willing to follow the treatment schedule and post treatment care requirements, including biopsies
  • Not have active localized or systemic infections
  • Not have a compromised ability for wound healing
  • Not have had specific recent treatments for AKs in the past 6 months
  • Not currently taking Accutane
  • Not have a known allergy to lidocaine (numbing cream)
  • Not have used topical steroids or retinoids within the last 6 months on treatment surfaces
  • Not have a personal history of malignant melanomas, keloid scars, generalized psoriasis, or systemic diseases that would preclude the use of topical anesthesia
  • Agree to refrain from using cosmeceuitcal agents or topical agents during the study, except as directed by study investigators
  • Not be pregnant

There will be a stipend paid at the completion of the study.

Acne Laser Study

We are seeking volunteers to participate in an acne laser study.

Eligible participants must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older (non-lactating, non-pregnant)
  • Currently have inflammatory acne vulgaris on the face (at least 10 lesions)
  • Be willing to follow the treatment schedule and post treatment care requirements
  • Be willing not to use topical or systemic (oral) anti-acne medications including medicated shampoo or soap during the study period
  • Be willing to have photographs taken and used for educational or marketing presentations and publications

There is no monetary compensation for participation in this study.

All studies are conducted at no cost to the participant.
